About the Author
DR. MARTINES is an assistant professor in the psychology department at Montclair State University in New Jersey. Previously, she worked for the Board of Education of the City of New York. Dr. Martines has taught at Lehman College, College of New Rochelle, and Fordham University at Lincoln Center.
Dr. Martines has been professionally active as a Bilingual School Psychologist, Bilingual Psychotherapist and Foreign Language Assessment Examiner. Her current research interest is teacher′s multicultural awareness, knowledge, and skills within the school based mental health consultation model.
