Norma was inspired to write this story about her life at the request of her youngest son Billy. He asked her to write a story about everything that happened in her life that she could remember. Today Norma is 94 years old and resides on the outskirts of Atlanta at Lake Allatoona in White, Georgia. Two of her three sons, Lawrence and William, are still living in Georgia today with their wives, as well as her 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren, whom all reside in Georgia. Her beloved son Don Richard and her beloved husband Raymond Draper have since passed away. Although Norma is 94 years old, she is still very interested in politics and world events. Reading the Newspaper every day and staying current on Time Magazine is a daily ritual for her. She remains quite active with her family, friends and church, and still loves to host holiday celebrations at her home for her family. Norma is quite an extraordinary woman.
