About the Author
Patricia Anne Singelyn was born in Detroit, Michigan. When she was six years old, her family moved to Bloomfield Hills. Growing up the oldest child in a family of six, she attended Catholic Schools until she was a junior in college when she transferred to The University of Michigan. Graduating with a Bachelor's degree in fine art, she went on to complete her Master's degree in Art Education at Wayne State University. With teaching as her passion, she taught art to both elementary and middle school children, in both private and public school systems in Michigan. Taking an early retirement in order to follow her dream, "Trish" purchased a home in Yarnell, Arizona. It is here where she found a place to fully explore her creativity, establish life-long friendships and learn many life lessons. Trish moved from a house built around the boulders to Boulder, Colorado where she is busy making her art, mainly mosaics, and selling her work at a local gallery.
