About the Author
Sometime in early 2006 I attended a prayer service. That night after the service I had a dream about Josef, the Earthly Father of the Christ, which is the name I know him by. You know, the Josef and Mary Josef. I was puzzled by the dream and it stuck with me. Weeks later I "saw" a biblical dressed male figure in my living room. Needless to say, that was unsettling and I told the figure to leave, which he did. A few days later the figure was once again in my living room. This time I asked him who he was and why he was there. He replied he was Josef and wanted to talk to me. I told him that having him appear to me was very unsettling but he could "talk" to me in my head and I would listen. This started my re-connection with Josef. After a few days I remembered that I was fascinated by Josef as a child. And when in utero my nickname was "Josephine Elizabeth Bridget." The connection had been established even before I was born. So began my journey with Josef. I received information from him that has become a book and contemplation card deck Path of the Sacred Masculine. And recently I have felt the nudge from him to create a blog and share his wisdoms (JosefSpeaks.com). I have had to work through my reluctance to share his wisdom as there is a part of me that would have preferred to have the calling of being a fashion designer or even an architect! I have felt a lot of concern about how others will react to me being a channel for Josef. Yet, with the encouragement of dear friends I know that my connection is my calling and to serve that calling I need to share the wisdom of Josef. Quite a difference, though, from my years of being a computer programmer analyst! I now understanding that those years allowed me to raise my daughters and that time needed to pass until now, when Josef's words are needed.
