Amongst his awards are the IEEE Millennium Medal in 2000 and the Inaugural Award from the International Society for Plasma Medicine, 2010. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).Kong, M. G.: - Michael Kong is Professor in Bioelectrical Engineering at Loughborough University, where he co-founded the world's first integrated plasma medicine centre with cell biology and gas plasma labs. He is a founding member of the International Society for Plasma Medicine and is widely regarded as a leading expert in both plasma medicine and in low-temperature atmospheric plasmas.Morfill, G.: - Gregor Morfill is Director at the Max Planck Institute since 1984. He holds honorary Professorships at the University of Leeds and the University of Arizona. He has been elected as a foreign member of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
