About the Author
Eryk Jadaszewski, born and raised in rural Florida and learn to speak as a boy and always had an interest in Polish history especially the Winged Hussars. In 1998 Eryk and his family moved to rural New Hampshire and by 2002 he was one of the founding members of the Czarniecki Division, a 17th century Polish re-enacting group based in New England. In 2003 Eryk started making his first suits of hussar armor and by 2005 had open Polish Hussar Supply Plus and has been making replicas of Polish cavalry armor and weaponry full time. Much of the armor is made in the traditional way on his anvil. The company also creates period Eastern European clothing and accessories for customers all over the world. He has been to Poland a number of times to visit family, study Polish armor first hand, participate in re-enactments and lead historical tours. Eryk lives in Dublin, NH with his wife and 2 sons.
