Larry Woiwode has been a Guggenheim Fellow, has won two awards from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, and has been Poet Laureate of North Dakota since 1995. His books include the novels Beyond the Bedroom Wall and What I'm Going to Do, I Think, which won the William Faulkner Foundation Award for best first novel.
