About the Author
The author is a mother, wife, and grandmother. She graduated in 1982 from Wirt High School in Gary, Indiana . She graduated from Indiana University Northwest with a degree in criminal justice and has been working in the court system for 17 years. She is very family oriented. She loves to write. She has been writing poetry for over 20 years. She writes poems for holidays, birthdays, church programs, funerals, and just for fun. She has always desired to write children's books. Being a grandmother has inspired her to pursue her dream. She is very creative. The author gives thanks to the Lord for blessing her with such a talent. She gives a special thank you to her family for all of their encouragement and support; especially her mom who encouraged her daily to pursue her dream.
