Primal Vengeance

Veteran Los Angeles police detective Ran Price was starting to embrace the slow pace of his new job as sheriff of rural Auburn, Kansas. Absent in the sleepy town were the never-ending flow of violent crimes and the long hours of investigation, though it was a difficult transition for Price, known for his relentless desire to solve the most challenging of cases. All of that changes with the discovery of a gruesome killing in Auburn's city limits, and other deaths soon follow in what appears to be the work of a serial killer.
