The Qabalah Paths of Light: The Occult Qabalah Reclaimed. Building upon the logic of my first book, The Qabalah Gates of Light, I continue to rework the Qabalah based in a foundation of the Rabbinic Jewish Kabbalah's symbols and metaphors. This book explores the paths of the Sefiroth and the question of assigning the Hebrew letters to the paths. Ultimately I choose to use the system published in the 1884 edition of the Sefer Yetzirah devised by Elijah ben Solomon Zalmon (1720 - 1790) of the city of Vilna Lithuania, known as the Vilna Gaon (Hebrew word for Genius). He was known by the Hebrew acronym 'the GRA'. Having done that I follow through with associating the Tarot's Major Arcana to this new configuration on the Tree's paths.I also provide insights into the creation of the Tree, its name (the Tree of Life) and its significance by rooting the Tree in a variation of the ARI mythic tale of creation and a retelling of the Gan Eden myth.I finally provide guidance and a suggestion of how to work with the Tree in a magick ritual setting. With this book I have reclaimed the Qabalah's use of the Sefiroth from its prior Christian disordered roots that were the origins of the original Occult Qabalah.

About the Author
Gary M. Jaron is an independent scholar who lives in Berkeley, California, is a compulsive over-reader, bibliophile, student to his Taoist master Basha, the cat who has agreed to share a home with him as well as his Wife, Cedar. Gary is a mystic philosopher who has found his way. Gary's grandparents both came to the United States in the early 1900. His Father's parents were from the territory of Podolia, which is now part of the Ukraine, and his Mother's parents were from Poland, both those areas were at the time when they were living there part of Czarist Russian control. His family name, Jaron, was shortened and altered to Jaron by the midwife at the birth of the first child of the family in Brooklyn, New York. His father, born in the United States, was the last child of fourteen. His mother was also born in the United States; she was the youngest of four siblings. Which makes Gary a second generation American. Gary was born in Levittown New York. Levittown was the first truly mass-produced suburb and is widely regarded as the archetype for postwar suburbs throughout the country. During the summer of his ninth year, he had a mystical experience and revelation that transformed him, inspired him, and started him out on his way. He has a BA degree in Religious Studies, with a Jewish Studies minor from the University of Washington and a JD from Golden Gate University. He is a member of the American Academy of Religion, having presented 'Acknowledging Diversity: From the Infinite Source Comes the Many Finite Voices' in 2012 and 'The time has come to talk of many things, Of Mystics, Perennialism, and Diversity' in 2014 at their Western Regional conferences. He has published 'What is True, and What is Real, Providing the Non-Aristotelian Tools to Orient You' in ETC: A Review of General Semantics, April 2012. In 2014 self-published Qabalah Gates of Light: The Occult Qabalah Reconstructed. He is an old school philosopher, a lover of Wisdom, working to unlock the keys to living in harmony with one's self, humanity and the Cosmos. His own orienting philosophy is a blend of and inspired by William James's Pragmatism, Lao Tzu's Taoism, Alfred Korzybski's Non-Aristotelian logic, Robert Pirsig's Quality metaphysics, Viktor Frankl's Logotherapy, and Isaac Luria's mythic vision of Tikkun Olam.
