Once upon a time, there was a young woman who wore a red cape. She kept her face hidden from the world around her. Her was Rosaline, but the villagers have forgotten her name. She is Little Red Riding Hood. Thirteen years have years have passed since Red Riding Hood was cut from the Big Bad Wolf's belly. She is quiet and distant. The villagers believe that Red Riding Hood is marked by the wolf who swallowed her. Until a strange young man with a golden horn tied to his back finds her intriguing. The young man set off on a personal mission to see if the rumors are true.

About the Author
Jolie Dubriel was born in Alexandria, raised Oberlin, and lives in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She is the youngest of three children raise by a single parent. After graduating LSUE in 2011, she took a job at Allen Parish Libraries in Oberlin. A place she always chose to escape with a book or two. As a child, fairy tales always intrigued her. Reading is her first love and writing is her second. In 2015, as she was finishing her bachelors' degree in Psychology at McNeese State University, the Broadway play "Into the Woods" was made into a Disney film. This inspired her to write her own revision of the world's most treasured fairytale character "Red Riding Hood." This is her first published work after a string of incomplete writings in journals stashed away in a box. Jolie enjoys working with children, since working children with Autism and special needs. Her love of children from all backgrounds has grown ten-fold and continues to be inspired by each child she comes in contact with. She is daydreamer; and wishes to see London, Paris, and New York someday. Maybe even dance in the streets, if she can.
