About the Author
Royal Fleas was a story that came to me in a flash. I would normally write using pictures, but on this occasion it was the text that popped into my head. I had a vision of a little girl helping the Queen out of a tricky spot and nearly being thwarted by the Queen's nasty Secretary. Even if my stories are about people, I always seem to end up drawing heavily on animals to be the clever and funny characters. I love to draw trees and landscape and you'll always find a pair of eyes peering from some foliage somewhere.
