About the Author
Beginning her running career in her 20's, Stephanie Atwood, M.A. is a Masters Competitor. She is also a nationally certified endurance running coach through US Track and Field and Road Runners Club of America. She has coached runners numerous to personal bests and championships. Atwood also holds certificates in nutrition and personal training and has written best sellers on both subjects, most recently on utilizing metabolic fat burning techniques to train better and the Big Book of Track Workouts, Run Faster Race Better. Coach Stephanie has been coaching professionally and competing for more than 30 years. She is also the Bay Area Women's Fitness Writer for examiner.com.
