NATHAN HOUSER is Director and General Editor of the Peirce Edition Project and Associate Professor of Philosophy at Indiana University, Indianapolis. He is co-editor of The Essential Peirce. DON D. ROBERTS is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Waterloo, Ontario, and Chairman of the Board of Advisors to the Peirce Edition Project.
