About the Author
McKenzie Willis is a native of Brownsville, TN who graduated from State University of NY at New Paltz. He was employed by the Research Foundation and retired from the New York State Dept. of Education. McKenzie is a published songwriter/lyricist and collaborated with Saturday Night Live musical director, L.Leon Pendarvis on the musical CD for this book. The audio version of the book was narrated by Janice-Gadsden-Pendarvis, winner of an Oscar for her role in the documentary film 20 Feet From Stardom.
