You want to know about me? Well I'm going to tell you. The best way to live life is to live it with no regrets. I most certainly don't have any. I can tell you that I am blessed and privileged to have had the opportunities that life has given me. A proud legacy of being in the Marine Corp, something I'll treasure for life. Who says having children doesn't make you better or at least it should. When you have to care for someone other than yourself, you learn to slow down and not take as many risks, as I was so accustom to doing. I think most people's lives are interesting, if they have the guts to share it. I can say that some of my experiences have shaped the way I think and have colored much of who I am today. I believe this is true for most. Looking back on some of my most outrageous memories and my bleakest moments, I can look ahead and honestly say that it is far from being over. So let me catch you up. I so very much enjoyed my childhood, I'm sorry if you didn't. But if you didn't, throw yourself into mine, as I share the craziness of it all. Walk with me through the sands of the Middle East while I describe in detail what made those experiences so outrageous. Learn some lessons from my mistakes, I know I did. But in the least, I know you will be captivated by my most intimate memoires. Though the good outweighed the bad, there were some things that actually made me cry. About the Author
Born Darryl Miles Perkins April 23, 1966 in Detroit, MI at Sinai Hospital, that was a great day, the schools he attended Fisher, Marktwain, Bennet, Boynton, Randolph Vocational School and Southwestern. After high school he worked for a few years before joining the United States Marine Corps May 1988, from 88 to 01 he traveled the world, many countries, Okinawa Japan, Yokosuka Japan, Bali Indonesia, Philippines-Subic bay/Manila, Thailand, Brisbane Australia, Middle East/Doha/Bahrain/Oman/Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates/Abu Dhabi/Dubai, Bangladesh, Djibouti Africa, Hawaii, Korea, Singapore and Canada. During his time in the military he was married in 1991, two beautiful daughters, Amber Nicole Perkins born in California, Alisha Lavon Perkins born also in California, they both now reside in Naples Florida. He left the military in 2001, in March or 2002 he was hired into the Federal Bureau of Prison San Diego, CA, transferred in 2003 to FCI Milan after spending over 16yrs in CA, he wanted to go home, because he missed the family, that was short lived when winter hit, he was ready to leave Detroit he got my chance in 2010 and moved to North Carolina where he reside. He received my Degree in Network Administration in 2012 and his second Degree in Business in 2013, his first book was published in March of 2012 titled Tears Behind My Eyes/My Life, with screenplay in tow, his second book will be published in 2013 titled Sex Education/Erotic Secrets of a Skool Teacher.
