Picture this--a dog has a smart phone and loves to text his owner every thought that enters his mind at any time of day. What could be so wrong? If you ask October Jones, the very patient owner of Dog, the self-absorbed, foul-mouth British bulldog, he'll tell you what could be wrong, and you'll understand why on the pages of this daily calendar.

Based on the popular textsfromdog.tumblr, the Texts from Dog 2024 Day-to-Day Calendar provides a year's worth of imaginary, creative, funny, and sometimes crude exchanges between man's best friend and his owner. The conversations between the two proves that this is a bromance like no other.

About the Author
October Jones is the pseudonym of English animator Joe Butcher who was born and raised in Birmingham, England.

Joe developed a keen interest in visual storytelling at school, particularly the cartoons of Chuck Jones. Upon leaving school, he attended the University of Wolverhampton and came away with a first class degree in Animation.

After graduating, Joe landed a job at a small media company in Derby, where he designed learning software for kids. The company has won several BETT Awards for its educational CD-ROMs and web games. Joe remains a keen animator and his YouTube videos have accumulated almost one million views. He has worked on animation projects for the BBC, as well as doing music videos for UK comedy band The Amateur Transplants.

Ironically, Joe spent most of his childhood afraid of dogs.
