She also copyedits both fiction and nonfiction and offers grammar and business-writing presentations and workshops. She previously worked as a newspaper reporter and editor, a technical writer and editor, and an English teacher. She has been a featured speaker at many California Writing Club chapters (Redwood Writers, Napa Writers, South Bay Writers, Mt.
