About the Author
In early 2012 The Bicycle Garden was just another in a slew of bedtime stories I told my kids. But the story stuck with me and I couldn't help but make an attempt to bring it to life. Although I have an art background, it is as a painter and I found the illustration process quite intimidating. I was used to throwing paint around. But this was different. I was dealing with the unforgiving line. After experimenting with various high-end pens and pencils I found that run of the mill colored pencils gave me the texture and variation I was looking for. I hope you, and your children are as pleased with the final product as I am.
