With all the talk about the mortgage crisis during the past couple of years, you probably believe you've heard it all when it comes to mortgage fraud, but what's discussed within this book is very different. How? Well unlike most mortgage fraud you have heard about, the kind of mortgage fraud discussed in "The Biggest Mortgage Fraud of All" starts long before you every consider obtaining a mortgage. The foundation for this mortgage fraud was laid decades ago and over time it's become ingrained in our way of thinking about homeownership and home financing. The Biggest Mortgage Fraud of All was written to shine a bright light on financial literacy. It explains a widespread and far-reaching mortgage fraud that takes advantage of your lack of financial knowledge, and will tell you how your financial biases may have put you in position to be exploited by some unlikely sources. You will be challenged about some "truths" you've always accepted without question. Do you have a mortgage? Have you ever had a mortgage? Are you thinking about getting a mortgage? Read this book. It will change your way of thinking. If you don't learn about it, you'll just continue feeding the biggest mortgage fraud of all.
