The Conquest of the Old Southwest

What was once considered the southwest in Colonial times is now known as the southeast. Archibald Henderson (1877-1963) was an American Mathematics professor who wrote on a range of subjects including history and drama. The Conquest of the Old Southwest is the romantic story of the early pioneers who traveled into Virginia, The Carolinas, Tennessee and Kentucky (1740 to 1790).
