About the Author Born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware, Author S.T. Phillips graduated with a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Wilmington University. He worked at Delaware Department of Juvenile Corrections before becoming a New Castle County Police Officer. He worked the street in Patrol before being transferred into the Criminal Investigations Unit and later the Crime Prevention Unit. While in Detectives, Phillips investigated Crimes Against Person including; Serious Assaults, Rape, Homicide. He was Member of SWAT including a role as sniper. The author also Served as Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Treasurer, Vice-President, and President. He is a Co-Founder of the Police Athletic League of Delaware. Currently Phillips is an active Deputy with the New Castle County Sheriff's Office.
