In 2000, SBC Magazine (defunct) SPRING edition published Greene's first of a series of short stories. The story was entitled "The Soiled Loin Cloth", the magazine's editor Stanley Bennett Clay accompanied the piece with a photograph of two Nubian men wrestling in the water.
