Allyson Leak is an entertainment journalist, motivational speaker, and entrepreneur. She has worked with publications such as Sister 2 Sister, Hype Hair Magazine, Honey Magazine, Madame Noire, Angela Simmons RunDown Magazine, and Today's Black Woman Style Report. Allyson fused her writing with her passion for helping others when she launched a women's empowerment blog a few years ago. The blog's goal was to uplift and empower women through inspirational articles and interviews. She also used her talents to make a name for herself in the fashion industry, designing jewelry for Alicia Keys, Estelle, and Ace of Spades Champagne to name a few. Allyson is passionate about helping young women and sits on the planning committee for WEEN (Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network). She currently lives in New York with her husband and twin boys. While she enjoyed it, she never lost sight of her dream of being an actress and still continues to study and hone her craft. Tara is also passionate about giving back and makes the time to participate in women's empowerment events and charity drives.
