About the Author
Chris Hamilton. Chris grew up in Concordia, Kansas, active in football, track and music. He graduated from Wichita State with a bachelor's degree, a double major in political science and music performance. He received a Masters in poli sci from the University of Missouri, Ph.D. in political science, and concentration in Russian and East European Studies from the University of Kansas. He has worked as a ranch-hand, truck driver, decorative house painter, and professor. He is a two-time Fulbright Scholar to Poland, taught at the famous Warsaw School of Economics, was Department Chair of political science at Washburn University, Topeka, where he now teaches and writes on religions and politics, interfaith movements, the Presidency, and peace studies. He is an avid mountain climber, hiker, and drummer, and is active in Boy Scouts, and interfaith work. The House Rules is his first historical novel, although he has published academic books and papers. He claims to be the only surviving graduate of both the bitter rival Universities of Missouri and Kansas, and the best gravy maker in the American West.
