The Kiwis: Unsung Heroes of WWII

Bud Altmayer was the Executive Officer of a U.S. Air Force B24 Bomb Squadron during the years 1942 and 1943. He was on a General's staff during 1944 and 1945. A great deal of the contents of the book is based on his personal experiences. However, in order to make the book readable, he has taken considerable literary license, embellishing the book with contents that are of his own imagination. Nevertheless, the parts that are products of his imagination could have actually taken place. Kiwi is a fusion of history and fiction.
