In 2009 Ashish launched Mara Foundation, focusing on supporting emerging young African entrepreneurs. Ashish was appointed as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum, and today he sits on the World Economic Forum's Global Agenda Council on Africa. In 2014 "Forbes" named him one of the ten most powerful men in Africa. He lives between Uganda and Dubai.
