Carpenter, B. D.: - B.D Carpenter is a combination of two people.B was born and raised in Dallas, TX. She spent much of her adult life living in Washington state where she got degrees in Human Services and writing. She has worked extensively as a crisis counselor and brings that experience in to writing deep and relatable characters.D was born and raised in Michigan where he got a degree in computer science and is currently a software engineer. His love of Sci-fi/ fantasy combined with his technical knowledge and experience show in his deep world building and magical systems that also still make sense. Together, B.D. married in 2022 and live in Texas with two dogs, two cats, and their dog's cat. Their relationship was built on their love of fantasy and books, and that continues into their writing.
