Seventeen-year-old Shawn Kelly and his best friend Steve Allison share an obsession with the old Hawthorne house and the mysteries it entombs. Somehow, they feel an unexplainable connection to it, and their appetite for an experience with the supernatural escalates to more than simple observation. Late one stormy night in 1965 they set out to explore the long-abandoned house that local legend has deemed haunted, perhaps to catch a glimpse of the ghosts of Lizzy and Emma. They discover more than they bargained for, learning the shocking truth that their quiet little town wasn't always the complacent community where they grew up.

About the Author

Wisconsin has been home all his life, with exception of a few years in Minnesota and Florida. He entered into the transportation industry in 1975 where he remained until retirement in 2012 Since 2001 he has thirteen published novels to his credit, and one non-fiction history volume, Rivers, Roads, & Rails.
