The Plane Truth

The last time Elizabeth spoke to her boyfriend Andy, was shortly before he boarded United Airlines Flight 175 on September 11, 2001. When his plane struck the South Tower of the World Trade Center, Elizabeth's world collapsed. Years of grief, drinking, and depression plagued her life until she eventually rebuilt and gave up the ghost.

Andy, or someone calling himself Andy, appears fifteen years later, claiming to have been kidnapped the day of September 11th. With his return come stories of captivity, mind control experiments, and Manchurian Candidate-style programming.

Andy's arrival not only disrupts Elizabeth's world, but the world at large, forcing America to reopen a delicate and divisive wound. As Elizabeth struggles with her own skepticism, she revisits a relationship with a former flame, as well as a familiar friend - the bottle.

Determined to confirm Andy's identity, she embarks upon a covert investigation where answers beget more questions, and trust is an illusion. And in the end, she must choose between the life she's built and the life she had taken away.
