"Before you step into any conversation about politics on a national or global level, you must first know the facts. David R. Young's The Political Spectrum: Freedom Vs. Enslavement is a unique book that delivers the information one needs to understand the left, the right and every party in between." eLit Electronic Book Awards Americans; Republicans, Democrats, Libertarians and Independents remain at odds because they do not have a common point to agree on as a basis to really work together. Perhaps the old adage, Divide and Conquer is being employed against our country. If that is the case, this book may be the only hope we have. This is not a book about pointing fingers and getting Democrats and Republicans to blame or hate each other. This book is likely to have the same effect on our county's political divide as did 9/11. For a brief moment we stopped and acknowledge we were all, first and foremost, Americans. If you feel that should happen again, but without a national disaster, read this book and pass it to that friend of yours across the isle. It is time you discovered what has been obscured concerning the political spectrum. With this knowledge you will make up your own mind about your position and also be certain about where you are not, on The Political Spectrum: Freedom vs. Enslavement.

About the Author
David R. Young, Gold eLit Award winning author is an entrepreneur, professional home designer and President of Arcdesign, an architectural firm in Clearwater, Florida. Young's first brush with politics was at a young age. He saw his parents and another couple who had been close friends become estranged. The reason? Politics. His parents were Republicans, their friends Democrats. This conflict left an impression on him. Young noticed the events of 911 brought both parties together. Political differences were set aside and being an American was foremost in our thoughts. But soon after "politics" drove Americans apart. Young began to research the political spectrum to gain more understanding on what appeared to be tearing the country apart. The book lays out the journey which uncovered false information and complexities added to the subject of politics and, just as our Founding Fathers used Liberty and Freedom as their guiding light, Young found this same line of thought resolved the confusions of the political spectrum. Where does Freedom fit on the traditional political spectrum? It is the single, most important concept which set America apart from the rest of the political world. This book may not bring everyone together. It certainly will not be looked upon kindly by those who have a vested interest in the collapse of Freedom. However, for those who believe America was founded on freedom and should remain so, this book will bring a new level of understanding to the field of politics and an increased ability to act.
