He is the author or editor of more than 40 technical books, including The DTV Handbook, The Standard Handbook of Video and Television Engineering, The Standard Handbook of Audio and Radio Engineering, and Communications Receivers. Mr. Whitaker is a Fellow of the Society of Broadcast Engineers.
