Sisterhood of Insanity is a compilation of stories. It digs deep into the issues of self hate, deception, the lack of love and everything that pertains to relationships. The writer delves into the characters in an effort to bring about awareness and healing. There is a saying that goes that all men are created equal but does the same go for women? Insanity is defined as a deranged state of the mind or doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. So is it insane to love hard, nurture and care about people and get hurt just to turn around and do it all over again. This book consist of so many twist and turns that sometimes it can be hard to keep up. The characters are real women that we know, see and love everyday but what is so amazing is that what we see is not usually what we get. Women are usually the ones who keep things together and are suppose to be seen as the nurtures and comforters. So how do they snap and become murders or why do they fall out of love with men and become lesbians? Are there so little choices of males in the world that they feel they must date men young enough to be their son's or stay in sexless relationships?

About the Author
Urban Light was born and raised in one of the poorest communities of Detroit, Michigan. She was inspired by what people told her she COULD NOT be. Family members belittled her telling her she would never get out of the so-called "ghetto" or become anything. She dared to dream and is known as a powerful performing poet and creative writer. She has appeared on national radio and television. Urban Light currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia where she continues to inspire her community with her words. Surely if God can use a person like me to do what was once considered to me and my loved ones as the impossible, what more will He do for you?
