About the Author
Weaver, Stephanie: - Stephanie Weaver is a children's ministry enthusiast who is passionate about teaching kids God's Word, God's character, and God's love. Her desire is to connect kid's hearts with the heart of God. When a nearly fatal suicide attempt left her with several physical disabilities including the loss of her voice, writing children's books became a wonderful new avenue for her to continue to teach the kids she loves so dearly, about the loving and faithful God who saved her life and gave her a second chance to live victoriously in Christ. She wants her books to inspire hope and bring encouragement to kids struggling with their own hurt and brokenness. Having grown up as a missionary's kid overseas in Guatemala and Papua New Guinea, she is passionate about missions and considers herself to be a missionary to the world's largest unreached people group: KIDS!Wyse, Michaela: - Words are like diamonds that are meant to be treasured. They are precious, illuminating the imagination which colors our minds. Michaela Wyse began transforming words into images as a child of missionaries in Bosnia, and has continued to do so while living in Colorado, Haiti, and the Carolinas. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities, with a focus in International Community Development, and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling at Columbia International University.
