About the Author

John W. Graham, DDS, MD, is an orthodontist and physician, as well as innovator, educator, and popular lecturer. He holds a bachelor's from Brigham Young University, a dental degree from Baylor College of Dentistry, and a medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, to which he added an internship in general surgery at Parkland Memorial Hospital, training in oral and maxillofacial surgery, and a certificate in orthodontics from the University of Rochester Medical Center's Eastman Dental Center.

In addition to holding faculty appointments at the University of the Pacific and the University of Rochester, Dr. Graham gives presentations worldwide on the most advanced orthodontic treatment philosophies available, and he has written many professional journal articles and coauthored orthodontic textbook chapters. He has several patents pending and has been awarded a US patent for an orthodontic treatment device.

Dr. Graham and his wife, a pediatric dentist, live in Salt Lake City with their four children.
