About the Author
, Dr. Mary G. Patton is an accomplished teacher, professional school counselor and Christian psychotherapist. She is the author of Emotional Trauma in School: Cause, Effect, Cure. She holds a masters degree in counseling psychology, and a Ph.D. degree in education counseling. Dr. Patton developed and directed a Healing Hearts Ministry that offered hope and healing to rape and incest survivors. She presently serves her local church as a volunteer with the Cancer Support, Greeters, Senior, Sunday School and Mentor ministries. Dr. Patton is retired and resides in Southaven, MS with her husband. They have two beautiful daughters and five delightful grandchildren.
