Remington J. Crockett is a pseudonym of author Douglas Berdan. He has been writing short humor for nearly twenty-five years and the great outdoors has long been one of his favorite topics. Since retiring from the U.S. Army in 2007, Berdan has concentrated his writing in the area of outdoor humor. He is an avid hunter, fisherman and all-around outdoorsman and his stories combine two of his loves in life, writing and the great outdoors. Berdan's writing is based on his own excursions into the wilds of North America and abroad. Whether it be bow hunting, trout fishing, hiking, camping, or berry picking, the majority of Berdan's time is spent afield around his home in Wisconsin; where he lives with his wife and daughter.
