About the Author
Sam Silberberg is now retired from a career in the printing industry in New York and lives with his wife Anita in Laguna Woods, California. His oral history has been taken by the Shoah Foundation, founded by Steven Spielberg, and his story is preserved by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C. He often speaks to school, university and museum audiences.
