About the Author

Alexander S. Bulatov is a professor at the Faculty of International Relations, MGIMO University in Moscow, Russia. His research focuses on general and international economics, world and global economics, and Eurasian and Russian economics. Over the past four decades, he has published numerous books on these and related topics. He teaches courses on international and Russian economics at MGIMO University and has been a visiting scholar in the UK and the USA, a trade mission officer in Tanzania, and an energy project field officer in Syria.
