Wycliffe's Apocrypha: A Companion Volume to WYCLIFFE'S BIBLE A Modern-Spelling Edition of the 14th Century Middle English Translation

WYCLIFFE'S APOCRYPHA is a Companion Volume to WYCLIFFE'S BIBLE, a Modern-Spelling Edition of the 14th Century Middle English Translation, the first complete English vernacular version, translated by John Wycliffe and John Purvey, with an Introduction by Terence P. Noble. The Biblical Apocrypha are the true "lost books" of the Bible, mostly ignored by those who know of them, and still unknown to more millions of believers. And yet, with the reverence and wisdom and beauty contained within these books, they need to be read by all thoughtful individuals, for they truly constitute a "Third Testament", one that speaks with the same voice as both the Old and the New Testaments. These treasures, more than two millennia old, presented here in their very first English versions, the Wycliffe and the King James Version, are now newly available to be discovered and incorporated into one's life. Read them and find out for yourself.
