About the Author
Charles Hairston was born September 24, 1953 in Winston-Salem, N. C. He Graduated from Holding Technical Community College in 1972 in Raleigh, N. C. and went on to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Before obtaining his degree, he left school to go to work. On the advice of his brother, Kenneth, Charles pursued a career in the HVAC industry where he became an Installation Technician. In July, 1989, he moved to Cleveland, Ohio where he met and married his wife, Joyce. Joyce Hairston is a native of Cleveland, Ohio. Throughout their years together, Joyce kept telling Charles that he should write a book.
