Science Genre – Books in the science nonfiction genre are about the systematic organizing of knowledge in the form of testable explanations and predictions about the universe. They are books about how things work and react together and against each other in chemical and physical ways.
Technology Genre –Books in the technology nonfiction genre are about scientific knowledge and practical purposes used to control and adapt to one’s natural environment. The books in this genre refer to and explain the tools, machines, techniques, crafts, systems, and methods used to solve (or improve) a problem, achieve a goal or perform a specific function. They are about the things we can create that help to make our lives easier and more efficient in some way.
Engineering Genre-Books in the Engineering genre are means by which we take our scientific knowledge of the world and use it to invent, design, and build technologies to solve problems in our lives. Engineering includes civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and chemical engineering.
