Who Are the Women in the Bible? Biblical history is full of women from all walks of life and social standing. Many made significant contributions to the Kingdom of God and some opposed the will of God. There are heroines and villains, queens and chambermaids, aristocrats and peasants. From these women came deeds of extraordinary valor as well as conspiracies against the one true God. There were everyday hard working sacrifices and nonchalant mediocrity. No two women were the same and all have a story to be told. While pulling together the scriptures and deciding who to include and who to not include, it became apparent that if one wanted to study the Bible it could be done effectively through the lives of these women. But also, if one wanted to study women's issues it could also be done effectively through the Bible. This book is primarily a compilation of scriptures about those noteworthy women in the Bible. It is designed to help the researcher and the curious to find scriptures on well-known Biblical women. It is not exhaustive as there are many, many women that are not included herein.
