About the Author
Lydia "Nitya" Griffith is known in Yoga circles as Nitya, meaning "Eternal One." Nitya is a certified Integral Yoga teacher, furthering the legacy of Sri Swami Satchidananda, who beseeched Yogis to focus on teaching children as much as adults. As the author of A Child's Journey into Yoga and creator of the Yoga With Nitya video series and children's summer camps, she has wide recognition as a master of presenting Yoga to children.
Nitya also conducts consultations and retreats for adults. Her decades of expertise in practicing applied Eastern philosophies also includes Chinese astrology, I-Ching divination, and Feng Shui interior design. She co-leads kirtan and satsang services in Richmond and frequents her spiritual home, Yogaville, both in Virginia.
