A Different War

Major Jamie Collins is sent to Letterman Army Hospital, The Presidio of San Francisco. When he arrives, the other patients on their orthopedic ward are psychologically isolated, depressed, and apathetic. Jamie's condition isn't much better. He makes it his mission to inspire his fellow patients to encourage and support one another, not just for the benefit of the men, but to please their head nurse, whom Jamie finds irresistible.
