About the Author
A research grant to explore the Underground Railroad in Kentucky inspired this book. Stephen Brown is currently working on his third novel. He lives in Kentucky and travels throughout the state on behalf of the Kentucky Humanities Council Speakers Bureau. His previous work, Shadows of Chaco Canyon, reanimates a world heritage site in Northern New Mexico, a special place where the earth and sky touch.
