About the Author
Joanne Kaminski was a classroom teacher and a Reading Specialist at an inner city school in Milwaukee for 8 years. She won an award for motivating the most students in the city of Milwaukee to read 2 years in a row. She was featured on Fox 6 news for her innovative teaching methods at a school in Waukesha, and now she owns her own online reading tutoring company. Joanne herself was a struggling reader as she grew up. She was always placed in the lowest reading groups and not able to participate in certain classes because of it.
