As leader of the Zombies, what he calls his illegal organization, Rev is the most successful drug dealer in Bronx history with an eight-figure tax-free income.African-Americans have controlled the Bronx drug trade for as long as anyone could recall, but now the Russians wanted the lucrative patch of New York City territory. Always beloved in New York City, as the Christmas season builds and he holiday nears, the Russians make plans to take over the Bronx drug business by force. Their plan is to attack on Christmas Eve, the city's favorite holiday.
The detectives that call Fort Apache the Bronx home know something is coming but don't know what or when. Deciding that the devil they know is better than the devil they don't, an unusual partnership ensues when the Bronx neighborhood becomes a war zone and the detectives of Fort Apache come to the aid of the Zombies in attempt to keep the Russians from ruining everybody's holiday.

About the Author
Etter, A. Shane: - A. Shane Etter is a former high tech sales professional who started writing fiction to improve his brain after a stroke. In addition to A War in The Bronx, he has four other published novels, a series of supernatural thrillers, Bottom Dwellers, Mind Dwellers and Trail Dwellers, set in north GA and NYC, plus A Brain in Third Person, his first ThomasMax-published work. Shane is a member of Clifford Brooks' Southern Collective Experience and the Prose Editor of that organization's literary journal, The Blue Mountain Review. Shane has taken writing classes under his mentor, two-time Pulitzer nominee, Jedwin Smith, author of Our Brother's Keeper, Fatal Treasure, among others. Shane enjoys working out and collecting and drinking wine in his spare time. He lives in a 22nd floor penthouse condominium in Sandy Springs, GA, with a view of the Atlanta skyline that inspires his writing and loves international and domestic travel. Shane is proud of his home state, Mississippi and all of the great writers that state has produced.
