Amid the Thracian wilderness in 1200 B.C., the warrior Angelus discovers that a confederacy of Achaean tribes plan to attack Troy, the glorious city not far from his own city of Talmarus. About the Author
After leaving a career in masonry in his early thirties, Peter C. Langella graduated valedictorian, earning his BA in English Education from Notre Dame College, where he learned a love of the Hellenic classics. He has taught varied classes, including persuasive writing, British literature, creative writing, and Greek mythology. He has published numerous poems in respected literary presses and has had three plays produced in community theaters. His novels include A Warrior's Heart: Battle for the Ancient City, and A Warrior's Heart: Labyrinth of the Sun. He is currently working on his third novel in the A Warrior's Heart series. Besides reading and writing, Langella enjoys hiking, nature, and working out. He currently lives with his wife and two dogs in Bradenton, Florida.
