Tim Green's life is falling apart; he's just lost the single father he grew up with and his brief career in politics is in the process of crashing and burning around him. That is, until stadium-filling musical icon and political activist Jordan Lee spies a reflection of himself in the deeply wounded Tim, and draws him into his inner circle. From meeting on a jet to a recording session to a sold-out stadium concert, Green and Lee hopscotch through airports and arenas across the United States, pursuing distinct yet similar dreams, while forging a brotherly bond that may ultimately offer each the chance to gain back something of what they've lost. Believe in Me is a novel about heroes and believers, regret and redemption, fathers and sons, and the healing power of rock and roll.

"A whirlwind ride through the breathless heights of megastardom."--Jacob Slichter, author of So You Wanna Be a Rock & Roll Star and drummer for Semisonic

About the Author
Music has played a central role in Jason Warburg's life since he sat in his older brothers' bedroom at age three listening to them play A Hard Day's Night over and over again. A recovering political junkie, in his thirties he moved into the non-profit world, while enjoying a parallel career as a music writer. The latter includes 15 years with independent music review site The Daily Vault (www.dailyvault.com), where he has served as editor since 2003. He is the author of more than 600 album reviews, interviews and feature stories, in addition to dozens of op-ed pieces and speeches. Jason describes his debut novel Believe in Me as a story not just centered around but "infused with" music, a journey across America populated by musical figures both real and imagined, whose outcome ultimately hinges on the healing power of rock and roll.
